Returns and Refunds

At Neckcleanie, an Australian business operating from Moonee Ponds, Victoria, we want you to be completely satisfied with your handmade greeting cards and stationery purchases. This return policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). If you are not satisfied with your greeting card or stationery order, we're here to help.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return of greeting cards or stationery products, your item must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition that you received it
  • In the original packaging designed to protect greeting cards during shipping
  • Returned within 14 days of delivery to your Australian address
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

Non-Returnable Items

The following greeting card and stationery items cannot be returned:

  • Custom-designed greeting cards and bespoke stationery (once production has begun in our Moonee Ponds studio)
  • Personalized greeting cards that have been customized according to your specifications
  • Greeting cards that have been damaged due to misuse or normal wear
  • Greeting cards or stationery returned more than 14 days after delivery within Australia
  • Greeting cards that have been written in or used

Return Process

To initiate a return for greeting cards or stationery, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order at our Moonee Ponds location:

  1. Contact us via email at info@neckcleanie.world or phone at +61412174271 with your order number and reason for return
  2. We will provide you with return instructions and a return authorization for your greeting card order
  3. Package the greeting cards or stationery securely in their original packaging
  4. Ship the items back to us at our Moonee Ponds address provided in the return instructions

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned greeting cards or stationery items, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed in Australian Dollars (AUD), and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days, in accordance with Australian banking practices.

Please note that shipping costs for greeting cards and stationery are non-refundable unless the item was defective or we made an error in your order, as per Australian Consumer Law requirements.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective greeting card or stationery item shipped within Australia, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage. Under Australian Consumer Law, we will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs for defective greeting cards or stationery products.

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges for greeting cards or stationery. If you wish to exchange a greeting card item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the greeting card or stationery product you prefer. This policy applies to all greeting card purchases made through our Australian website.

Return Shipping

Australian customers are responsible for return shipping costs for greeting cards and stationery unless the item was defective or we made an error. We recommend using a trackable Australian shipping service (such as Australia Post) and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned greeting card or stationery item. Returns should be sent to our Moonee Ponds, Victoria address.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund for your greeting card or stationery purchase yet, please check your Australian bank account or credit card statement again. Then contact your Australian credit card company or bank, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted according to Australian banking practices. If you've done all of this and you still have not received your refund for your greeting card order, please contact us at our Moonee Ponds location.
